A wonderful journey to a future full of surprises 

If you asked me 15 years ago about my future, I’d say “I’ll study for a while, have fun for a few years and then come back to the family business to be a farmer”.

Who could have imagined that after finishing college, I would become a Software Engineer and, through NN, I would change my direction towards Data. Well, that’s how life is, and I am really delighted to be part of Data team.

From Software to the world of Data

I joined as a Software Engineer, like in my previous experience. However, in the first months, an opportunity came to build an internal team to support the local Datawarehouse, so Data became my new career path. After almost 5 years, not only did we build the Datawarehouse, but we continue everyday improving the system and processes, even AI tools adaptation.

This is the most intriguing part of our job, to search for what’s new in the world and how we can incorporate it to enhance everyday processes and make users’ lives easier.

Unleashing the power of teamwork 

We started with a small team working with the vendor building the Datawarehouse. Now, we are 8 internal members supporting everything. Our team spirit is so strong that we think and act as one. It's truly great to go to the office and know that you can discuss, cooperate, and laugh with your colleagues. This is the secret to being more productive and eager to collaborate.

The future challenges - Accelerating growth with AI

NN encourages the use of AI to meet future demands and provides opportunities for international discussions on this topic. I feel privileged to participate in these conversations, with AI experts, to accelerate our growth and integrate AI into our everyday work lives. Our team recognizes that the capabilities are endless, and we have a lot of things to learn, but we never stop searching!
