Are you an OutSystems developer who is only satisfied when all users are satisfied? Pension C&IT is looking for a communicative, involved and results-oriented colleague. You will join a DevOps team that is responsible for various OutSystems applications for the Life & Pension business unit.

What you are going to do

  • As part of the OutSystems development team, you are responsible for knowledge sharing of OutSystems knowledge within your DevOps team. This way, you ensure that our (junior) colleagues understand what OutSystems can do and how they can use OutSystems, according to our way of working within the Centre of Excellence. When knowledge sharing within the DevOps team is at the right level, you will continue to be part of the DevOps team and handle the Ops and Dev changes for the applications that are under management within this team.
  • As an OutSystems developer, you are responsible for following an Agile Scrum approach when developing business applications. You support feature delivery demos and production deployments. You are also responsible for run-ops tasks after Go Life.
  • You support the Product Owner by converting user demands into technical requirements for the sprint backlog. You then coordinate these with DevOps team members and analysts to come up with the best possible solution.
  • You are responsible for the application architecture, code quality, and resolving any production issues. You take an active role in determining possible improvements, implementing adjustments, while testing your own and others' code.
  • You set a good example by leading by example and coaching other developers within and outside your team to work in OutSystems according to our company's best practices and approach

What you will bring

  • At least 3-5 years of experience with OutSystems technology/software development
  • Demonstrable experience in architecture and coaching junior colleagues
  • Bachelor/Master level with a critical eye
  • A social personality, combined with communication skills, so you can have conversations with the business and our architect
  • Experience in financial services (insurance)
  • Strong in both Dutch and English language
