We are looking for an experienced Director of Actuarial Reporting who will be responsible for overseeing the Actuarial Function within the Company. The person in this position will be responsible for the calculation of technical insurance reserves under Solvency I and Solvency II regimes, regulatory reporting, analysis of capital changes, as well as capital projections.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing tasks specified in the Insurance Act regarding the actuarial function;
  • Ensuring the correct determination of the amount of technical insurance reserves;
  • Overseeing the process of analyzing changes in capital and the surplus of assets over liabilities;
  • Designing and supervising the testing of the functionality of operational systems in terms of actuarial reporting;
  • Conducting independent risk reviews for newly introduced products;
  • Actively participating in project initiatives (including the implementation of new products);
  • Collaborating in the preparation of the Company's strategy and financial plans.


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in quantitative fields (mathematics, physics, economics, statistics);
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in actuarial work, including 3-4 years in managerial positions;
  • Holding an Actuary License;
  • Experience in the areas of actuarial science, risk analysis and assessment, reserve calculations, valuation of insurance products, and conducting financial audits;
  • Knowledge of regulations governing the operations of insurance companies in actuarial and risk management matters;
  • Ability to build trust both within and outside the organization;
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Polish is essential;
  • Experience as an actuary registered with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) is preferred.
